Privacy
This page explains which personal data is processed when you use Global Team Desk and who processes it. The site is a static website. It has no user accounts, comments, contact forms or newsletter, Global Team Desk itself sets no cookies, and no analytics or advertising trackers are used.
Who is responsible
The operator is Erik Rasin, c/o JL Consulting Group GmbH#1948, Zürcherstrasse 84, 8852 Altendorf, Switzerland (see also the legal notice). For privacy questions, write to [email protected].
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser type and the referring page. Cloudflare processes this data to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse and attacks. This can involve servers outside Switzerland and the EU, including in the United States. If Cloudflare needs to tell visitors apart from automated traffic, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
Global Team Desk does not run its own server logs and does not combine this data with other sources. For details on Cloudflare's processing, see the Cloudflare privacy policy.
If you write to [email protected], Cloudflare Email Routing receives the message and forwards it to the operator's inbox, where it is stored by the operator's email provider. Your email address and message are used only to handle and answer your request, for example to check a correction, and not for marketing. Messages are kept as long as needed for that purpose.
Fonts, scripts and the Hiring Map
Fonts and scripts are served from this website. No content is loaded from third-party servers when you read a page. The Hiring Map runs entirely in your browser: your selections are not sent anywhere and are not stored.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain marked affiliate links to Deel. If you click one, you leave this site and go to Deel's website. Deel can then see that you arrived through Global Team Desk's referral link and may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute the referral. That processing is Deel's responsibility and is governed by Deel's own privacy policy. Nothing is sent to Deel unless you click such a link.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask for access to your personal data and for its correction or deletion, and you can object to its processing. To do so, write to the address above. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority; in Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
